If you've been obsessed with Clara von Zweigbergk's Themis mobile for Artecnica (guilty!) since its 2010 debut, I'm thinking you'll be a fan of her equally graphic & gorgeously-hued metal trays called Kaleido. Available in 5 sizes/shapes and 9 super-charged colours, they're designed for one of the most interesting design cos around, Danish manufacturer & shop Hay.
One day, who knows when, I'll make it to a Hay shop in person and it's going to be dangerous.
I'd be rather happy to welcome Ligne Roset's new charmer the Peye floor lamp to my home- ideally in multiples. Designed by France's two designers and an architect trio, Numéro 111, both the Peye and its matching table lamp Olive should be available later this year.
I love everything that Tom DIxon creates- but I especially looooove his copper pieces. Have a look at the glorious new Etch Web pendant. Cannot wait to see these in the context of a room.
WHATSWHAT is a Swedish design trio composed of John Astbury, Bengt Brummer and Karin Wallenbeck. Greta is a pendant lamp with an ingenious pleated lampshade that changes shape by pulling a metal drawstring. Now carried by Svenskt Tenn, Greta was actually designed by the trio while they were working on their master's degrees at Konstfack University (University College of Arts, Crafts and Design) in Sweden.

German designer Sebastian Herkner's new Tauber Collection is inspired by something rather dull & generally uninspiring: the covers of ventilation shafts. And the folds found in the facades aren't just there for beauty's sake either- they help to provide stability. The collection consists of a cabinet, bench and individual boxes. Made from powder-coated steel, they're manufactured by Pulpo and come in white, black, grey & the perfect shade of green.
